By using artaquest.org you agree to the terms below. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Who we are<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">ArtaQuest Foundation (&#8220;ArtaQuest&#8221;, &#8220;we&#8221;, &#8220;us&#8221;) is a non-profit foundation operating an online learning platform that brings together the best free courses on the topics and skills people most want to learn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Accounts<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Creating an account is free. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials safe and for the activity that occurs on your account. We may suspend accounts that violate our <a href=\"\/code-of-conduct\/\">Code of Conduct<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Courses and content<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Every course is free to access. Students who want a certificate of completion receive it free once they complete the course and pass its checks. Content is provided as-is for educational purposes; it is not professional, legal, medical, or financial advice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Donations and Arta Coins<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Donations are voluntary and processed through WooCommerce on this site.<\/li>\n<li>Accepted payment methods are card payments (processed by Stripe) and Interac e-Transfer; coins are credited once payment is received.<\/li>\n<li>For every CAD donated and confirmed, your account is credited with 1 Arta Coin in your Arta Coin wallet.<\/li>\n<li>Coins have no cash value, cannot be converted back to currency, and cannot be transferred between accounts.<\/li>\n<li>Donations are non-refundable except in cases of clear error (duplicate payment, demonstrable fraud). See the <a href=\"\/refund-policy\/\">Refund Policy<\/a> for details.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Certificates<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Certificates of completion are free. You earn one by completing a course and passing its checks (a score of 70% or above) \u2014 there is nothing to pay. If a technical defect prevents your certificate from issuing after you have earned it, contact <a href=\"mailto:support@artaquest.org\">support@artaquest.org<\/a> and we will re-issue it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Instructor qualification<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Crossing the 10,000-point threshold unlocks the right to apply as an instructor; it does not entitle anyone to publish a course. Final acceptance is at our editorial discretion and based on the quality of the course pitch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Intellectual property<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Course content is owned by the instructor who authored it; the ArtaQuest name, mark, and platform code are owned by ArtaQuest Foundation. You may quote short excerpts for non-commercial commentary or education with attribution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Liability<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The service is provided as-is. To the extent permitted by law, ArtaQuest is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Changes to these terms<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We may update these terms; the effective date at the top changes when we do.
